The General conference was opened by Khalid Rajabov, Chairman of the AUKAA. Dr. Carolyn Browne, UK Ambassador and Clare Bebbington, Director Communications and External Affairs, BP Azerbaijan, greeted and congratulated AUKAA members on the 2nd anniversary of the AUKAA, both stressing the importance of AUKAA for further deepening the relations between the UK and Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijan-UK Alumni Association held the Career Fair on Saturday, April, 28 at the Baku Business Center. The Career Fair’07 was an unparalleled recruiting event hosted by the AUKAA in cooperation with the American Alumni Association with the purpose of bringing together country’s top recruiters and graduates of the leading educational establishments across the Europe and US. |

For the second successive year, AUKAA got its members together in a dinner to celebrate the holy Ramazan Holiday. |

On November 13, AUKAA held a farewell party in honor of the President of BP, David Woodward. Mr. Woodward has been an outstanding supporter of the AUKAA since its inception. His contribution to the development of the association was gratefully acknowledged by Khalid Rajabov, the Chairman of AUKAA Executive Board. Further, in recognition of his support and contribution to AUKAA, Mr. Woodward was awarded a plaque. |
